At OMI, we are committed to giving back to our local communities.

Over the years, we have supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals, Camp Kesem, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the Chicago Chapter of Minds Matter, and countless others.

OMI maintains a very strong relationship with Horizons for Youth, a Chicago not-for-profit organization focused on helping children from low resource areas achieve success in school and life.

Through scholarships, a summer academic program, one-on-one mentoring, enrichment outings, tutoring, counseling, and high school and college preparation services, students gain access to the resources they need to graduate high school, continue on to college, and successfully enter the workforce.

The students overcome the challenges of their neighborhoods to achieve academic and personal success. OMI has deep personal connections to Horizons, and throughout the year we hosts several events for the students and their mentors.

At OMI, all employees are encouraged to be active in supporting causes close to them in any way they can and to bring giving opportunities to light for the company to support.
